Cub Scout Pack 105 Rockport, Indiana

Boys who are in the third grade are more than welcome to come and join the Bear den.                                                                               

Pack 105 would like to welcome Jakob to the Bear Den.  He joined during our fall round-up.

Starting in November, the Bears will begin meeting @ the LEC Building on Wednesdays @ 6:30.  The only exception is the week that the Pack meeting is held.  The second Thursday of the month is the Pack meeting.  Here the scouts will receive their awards.

Please remember to bring the Bear book.  Also if your son has earned any beltloops or other awards please let his den leader know.

The Bear den earned the Pack Summertime Activity Award.  Austin, Alex, Eli, and Trevor received their pin and the den received a ribbon!

We would like to thank Deputy Sheriff Todd Dunsworth for coming to our meeting and talking to us about law enforcement and being safe.  We learned about what to do if in danger, making our fingerprints and we made molds of our footprints.  The Bears had lots of fun doing these activities and talking to Deputy Sheriff Dunsworth.  

During our meeting on Dec. 10th we learned about Newspapers.  We had a visitor from the Journal Democrat who told us how they are prepared for getting stories and how you need to pay attention to detail.  The boys got a Journal Democrat and balloons during the visit.

Congratulation goes to Ethan, Eli, Alex, Austin and Trevor each earned their whittlin chip.  They learned the proper way to care for and handle a pocket knife.
